Stem Cell Researcher David Friendlander


Professor of Biology Nicole Theodosiou and the Rapaport Ethics across the Curriculum Initiative are proud to present a talk "A Lack of Plasticity: Embryonic Stem Cell Policy in the U.S." on the Ethics and Politics of Stem Cell Research. Our speaker is David Friedlander, a researcher at Scripps Institute and in the California State Legislature. This event if free and open to the public.

Union College is the first school of its kind to host the prestigious National Undergraduate Bioethics Conference (NUBC) sponsored by the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities, Union's Rapaport Ethics across the Curriculum Initiative, Philosophy Department, Ephemeris, the John Conely Foundation, and the Union Graduate College/Mount Sinai School of Medicine Masters in Bioethics Program.
