Michael S. Rapaport

Michael Rapaport is a Union alumnus, a businessman, and a real-estate lawyer in White Plains, NY. A patriot of Union, he has been actively involved in the life of the College for many years.





ETHICS INITIATIVE TEAM


Bob Baker, Philosophy and Bioethics

Dr. Bob Baker is an expert in this area. He has conducted national workshops on ethics in science for the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. Currently he is project director for an NIH Fogarty grant to teach research ethics to scientists in central and Eastern Europe. Professor Baker has also been working with faculty from other campuses and around the world, but this is the first time he has had the opportunity of working with Union faculty on this sort of initiative.


Anastasia Pease

Anastasia Pease holds a Doctorate in Humanistic Studies, as well as two MA degrees -- one in English, and another in Russian. Currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of American Literature, Dr. Pease has also designed and taught a course entitled "Diversity and Equity in America," encompassing many of the ethical issues facing people today, both in the United States and globally.
